• Question: Is there any biochemist on board, i.e, a scientist who did biochemistry as an undergraduate and possibly at a masters level

      Greetings, thank you for your question. I did a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Technology and a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics. Biochemistry was one core course in my undergraduate. My Master’s degree built upon biochemistry specifically in which I undertook genetics. Biochemistry is therefore a core course for molecular biologists and immunologists; these two types of scientists have proven to be very important especially during this pandemic as they have participated in tracking the spread of coronavirus and making of the vaccines.

      Yes, we have colleagues in that field and yes it is a course that is very applicable in health research.
