Greetings, thank you for your question. I did a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Technology and a Master’s degree in Molecular Genetics. Biochemistry was one core course in my undergraduate. My Master’s degree built upon biochemistry specifically in which I undertook genetics. Biochemistry is therefore a core course for molecular biologists and immunologists; these two types of scientists have proven to be very important especially during this pandemic as they have participated in tracking the spread of coronavirus and making of the vaccines.
